This is a great, free app.
I have recently re-discovered having this app on my phone after about a year or so of having it downloaded on my phone. I was occasionally writing on there when I first downloaded it while in the hospital, but after my little one was born, I completely forgot about the app maybe a couple of weeks and to keep documenting on there. But now that I am looking at the app on my phone more, I am going to get back into writing in the app on our progression together for her to read when she gets old enough to read
My husband and I love the app for tracking our babies height, weight, and bottles. But because we can’t link accounts across multiple phones, he is constantly having to remind me to input the information after he feeds our little one or when we get home from the doctor. For midnight bottles he even texts me so that when I wake up for the next bottle I can make sure it’s put in. If we could link one account across multiple phones this app would be everything we need it to be!!
This is not right, I can’t put my babies actual date of birth it makes me put today’s date….
This app won’t let you input your child’s birthday if it is before “today’s” date. Would love to use this app but I can’t put the actual birthday for my child.
I can’t put in my babies birthday, it keeps moving back to January 1 2020
I saw complaints from 3 years ago about people not being able to input their baby’s birthday. Well, I’m having that problems so obviously that hasn’t been resolved. Very unfortunate and disappointing as I looked forward to using this app. 0/5 stars
so i downloaded this app for my son that was just born and i wasn’t even able to add him because when i went to add his birthdate the screen went beserk so i couldn’t add him, then i just added a random birthdate so i could check out the preemie guide and the font was white with a beige background so i couldn’t read that either... i’d give it a 0/5 if i could
It would literally be perfect **IF** they could add two features: 1- the ability to save as PDFs so that the pages (with all the information as well as the backgrounds and such) could be printed out, if a parent wanted to save them or something like that; and ((my biggest complaint)) 2- create the ability to link accounts for parents/family members/caregivers of the same child so information can be shared between them and automatically updated. I’m a caregiver for two preemie babes and this 100% would be the app the parents and I would choose use if that feature were available!!! ***PLEASE CREATE THE ABILITY TO LINK ACCOUNTS/SHARE INFORMATION BETWEEN DIFFERENT PEOPLE (IE: PARENTS, OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS, & CAREGIVERS)***
I just discovered this app. My only issue is that I can’t put my babies DOB in. It doesn’t go back 2 weeks to June 15 when my son was born. It only starts from today. That’s frustrating.
Can’t even enter my sons date of birth to start using the app.. the months just spin and go right back to the current date, all the tips with headings.. the headings don’t show you have to click them individually to see what it is.. deleting the app.. it was a cute design tho.. and apparently it works for other people..
Love this app, just wish the font wasn’t white as its not easy to see on a cream/white background
I am just setting this app up for my baby who was born two weeks ago. It seems like I am unable to adjust his birthday retroactively. Anyone know how to get past this? Thanks!
This app help me so much with my micro preemies. Any and every word a doctors say to you will be defined in this app. You can track weight, head and chest it gives you questions to ask doctor. You will not regret this app!
I love how Easy it is to use. Its very useful to track the feeding and weight for my little one.
I adore this app and have reviewed it in glowing terms previously. The addition of the feeding tracker was an excellent enhancement. The feeding tracker allows charts for hourly, daily, and weekly. These are very useful! However, for the past week or so, the weekly chart will not display and tapping the weekly chart tab causes the app to crash on my iPhone 8 Plus running current iOS. Otherwise, this is the best preemie / preemie-needs app I’ve found and I’m so grateful for the design, well thought-out user experience, and key information for preemies. Thank you!
Nice layout and details but a lite hard to navigate. I can’t figure out how to easily move between each day without having to go back to the calendar- am I missing something? I like the idea that others had to enable sharing between family members and being able to export to PDF.
This app is awesome, especially the journal and the details about my niece. Please allow us to share log ins so that everyone in our family has access to the entries and information because right now we all have our own and there’s no way to see what others have posted or to see the updates anyone else has posted.
I love this app!! I was able to easily keep track of both of my twin dauhters’ NICU journeys. I especially love the graph feature for the height, weight, and head circumference.
Please add feature in settings to change the appearance and remove the artwork if desired. It can be kind of distracting. Also like others have noted, make a way to export the pages to print out an actual book. But all in all, a really good app! Thank you.
I used this app a lot as a possible but of reference during the six months my daughter spent in the NICU. Does a great job explaining complicated medical terms in a way parents can understand.
So glad I found this app. Therapeutic and insightful app.
I wish I could make a PDF of the diary pages that show the photos and full page of text. They just doesn’t export properly and if you email them you lose the cute background. Really hoping this can be fixed because I’d love to pdf my whole diary and make a real book about my daughter. Also wish the growth chart graphs showed beyond a year. I can still input but it doesn’t show up on the graph. It would be great if you could change the time span.
I wish I had found this app sooner!
I love the app because I can record my child's progress but I'm having a hard time transferring that data from my old iPhone to my new iPhone. Besides that it's great!
This app was a great way to keep track of milestones and growth charts while our preemie twins were in the hospital. I love that I could have records for both our girls! (Looks like you can have higher order multiples too, not just twins!)
Appreciate ability to add in a lot of baby related activities. Easy to track memories.
This app is great for parents of preemies! We are easily able to chart his growth and milestones along the way. Our 23 weeker is 80 days old and this helps record the important changes he goes through each day. The guide is also super for an accurate description of many of the terms, issues, phrases, and medical conditions preemies will encounter. Thanks to Graham Foundation for a great app!
Wonderful, well thought out app for NICU parents. I wish I had come across this earlier in my daughters NICU stay. Not just helpful for me, but also for grandparents to acquaint them with common NICU terms. My only suggestion would be to extend the growth charts into about 2 years of age.
Having a preemie is a very difficult process! I have been looking for a way to keep up with all of my sweet daughters information and daily updates. I tried a notebook, but I never seem to have it when I think of something.my phone is with me all the time so having an app to store the information and is perfect! The peaceful artwork and design of that calms me every time I open it. I love the diary and it's prompts it provides a way for me to vent and be thankful for things. This app is truly helping my heart heal! I love the opportunity to keep track of the nurses we are seeing and the graph of her weight. The "remember to ask" your doctor button is genius! I can't wait to use this app for her daily updates. Thank you so much for making something so easy and wonderful to use.
I was very excited about using this app. It is beautifully designed however when trying to input all of my babies information, I am unable to due to the inability to reach the name and birth date part of the babies info. The app will not let me scroll all the way up it defaults to the gender part. If this is resolved I'd love to reinstall!
When I had my preemie back in 2013 I don't think this app was available on the device I had at the time. After seeing a post about it on Facebook today I was curious about it and downloaded it. This app would have been amazing when I needed it. It has all the information for terms that a preemie mom/dad will learn to know without needing to look it up. It also has growth charts and a place to keep track of all the data you want to know on a day to day basis. I bought a planner when my son was in the nicu but it would have been so much better to have this app then. If I ever have another preemie I will definitely be using this app! It's amazing!
This app was truly ESSENTIAL when my second son was born, unexpectedly, at 34 wks (which is considered a late term preemie). My other (first) child/son was born over a month later (gestational age) in my pregnancy, so I didn't know anything about preemies, which the nurses in the NICU weren't much help with) I don't know how I would have made it through his hospital stay without having ALL the VALUABLE info in the app for me to read (especially when I couldn't sleep at night when he was in the NICU) to bring my optimism up, keep my worrying to a minimum & to pretty much, just keep me from going insane (in the beginning)!!! I would recommend this app to ANYONE with a premature newborn in their life, whether the newborn be a son/daughter, step-child, grandchild, niece/nephew, or other close family member. There is vital information in this app that you need to learn! THANKS SO MUCH to the developer(s) of this app! I don't think I could've made it without it! Remember people: KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!!!
It's absolutely amazing at helping you keep track of everything going on with your premature baby. The pocket guide is the most detailed information about various preemie conditions, equipment, parenting, feeding, and development.
This amazing app is a must have for anyone who has a preemie baby or in our case preemie babies! A great way to keep track of the development and progress of your baby. You can even share the diary entries to family or friends. The guide is outstanding, it includes all the NICU terminology to help make your stay in the NICU a little easier. My only request for future updates to this app is the ability to log in to be able to access your babies. The way it is now you can only use 1 device only to make all the diary entries or updates. My wife would like to be able to log in from her phone and add to the same diary. This is my only reason for 4 stars and I will change my review once this feature is included.
I love this app! Beautifully designed and the function is very easy and useful. Also, I feel wonderful knowing the money I paid to purchase this app helps other preemie's ❤️
This app is a great help. When my baby was delivered at 25 weeks, I knew I wanted to keep some sort of journal. This app lets me track my son's progress, send updates to family members and friends and it's lovely to look at. Everything around us seems so sterile. The gentle colors of here are calming. I love the Preemies: Guide book. It's easy to love this app too. It's a great gift idea if you know a preemie parent!
